Hello, I am Alexandra Winkler.

Hello, I am Alexandra Winkler, an enthusiastic translator, language trainer and adventurer who loves to travel.

After graduating from a commercial college, I received valuable training in tourism. I then worked in various companies and industries, gaining experience in a variety of fields. After a few years of professional experience, I completed my studies in transcultural communication with German, French and Spanish as working languages, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Finnish language and culture at the University of Vienna.

Through regular stays abroad, including the UK, France, Spain, Finland and the Czech Republic, I have not only been able to improve and expand my language skills, but have also gained important international experience. Most importantly, living in many different countries taught me the art of using language to immerse myself in the culture and mindset of a country and thus building linguistic bridges to bring people closer together.

To recharge my batteries, I am often drawn to the tranquillity of nature. During my walks in the woods or hikes in the mountains as well as when riding my horses, I enjoy the silence around me and gather new strength and inspiration. I am also regularly drawn to faraway places and my travels to different countries, filled with lots of activities and new impressions, allow me to keep on building new bridges.

With the founding of Alexandra Winkler-Sprachdienstleistungen in 2016, I turned my hobby and source of energy into my profession.

In order not to stand still, I am constantly developing my skills, learning new languages and improving my knowledge through courses and training. In 2020 I also started a Master’s degree in Finno-Ugrian Studies, which I successfully completed in March 2023.

I am happy to provide translation, interpreting, proofreading and language training services to companies and individuals.
